Terms & Conditions – Manufacture of Lighting Brackets and Fixtures

1. Scope of Work
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, orders, and manufactured products supplied by Metal Design UK, including lighting brackets, fixtures, and any associated fabricated components.
1.2 All products will be manufactured strictly according to the specifications, drawings, and instructions approved by the customer at the time the order is placed.

2. Quality Standards
2.1 Metal Design UK will manufacture all lighting brackets and fixtures according to the quality standards specified in the quotation or technical documents provided.
2.2 Any specific requirements such as material grade, finish, load rating, coating, or certification must be stated by the customer before production begins.
2.3 Items will be produced exactly to the specifications and information provided by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all details supplied are correct and complete.

3. Order Confirmation & Customer Responsibility
3.1 An order is confirmed once a written approval, purchase order, or required deposit is received.
3.2 The customer must check and verify all drawings, dimensions, materials, quantities, and design details prior to confirmation.
3.3 What the customer sends is what will be manufactured. Once production has started, changes may not be possible without additional costs.

4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 The customer has 24 hours from order confirmation to cancel with no charge.
4.2 After 24 hours, cancellation will incur charges for any materials, labour, engineering work, or production time already committed.
4.3 If manufacture has begun, the customer may be liable for full or partial payment depending on production progress.
4.4 Metal Design UK will attempt to accommodate changes or cancellations after 24 hours, but this cannot be guaranteed, and charges may still apply.

5. Changes to Orders
5.1 Any modifications requested after the 24-hour cancellation window may require a revised quotation, adjusted lead time, and additional charges.
5.2 All changes are subject to production feasibility and material availability.

6. Lead Times & Production
6.1 Estimated lead times will be provided with the quotation or order confirmation.
6.2 Lead times may vary due to material supply delays, design changes, or factors outside Metal Design UK’s control.

7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment terms will be stated on the invoice or quotation.
7.2 Orders cancelled after the 24-hour period may require partial or full payment for work already completed.

8. Warranty
8.1 Metal Design UK warrants that all manufactured products will be free from defects in workmanship and will conform to the approved specifications.
8.2 The warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect installation, alterations by the customer, external damage, or normal wear and tear.

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Metal Design UK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use, installation, or performance of the products.
9.2 Liability is limited solely to repair, replacement, or refund at Metal Design UK’s discretion.

10. Acceptance of Terms
10.1 Submitting a purchase order, written approval, or otherwise confirming an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
